Usage Instructions
SilcPro™ pigments are highly concentrated and must be properly diluted before application to silicone. Follow these instructions carefully to achieve optimal colour consistency and coverage.
Mixing Process
Step 1: Combine Pigment and Paint Base
Add SilcPro™ pigment to Psycho Paint drop by drop, stirring thoroughly after each addition. This controlled approach ensures even colour distribution and prevents over-concentration. Continue until you achieve your desired colour intensity.
Step 2: Thin to Working Consistency
Once the pigment and paint base are fully combined, gradually add Bob Ross Thinner to reach the desired consistency. The mixture should resemble thin cream or milk—fluid enough for smooth application, yet with sufficient body for even coverage.
Add thinner incrementally, stirring well between additions, until the correct consistency is achieved. Avoid over-thinning, as this may compromise colour saturation and coverage.
Application
Apply your prepared mixture to silicone using appropriate techniques for your project. The thin cream consistency allows for precise application and excellent blending.
Storage
Keep SilcPro™ pigments tightly sealed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to maintain colour integrity and product longevity.
