Air Dry Matting Fluid
Professional clear-set matting fluid designed to remove excess shine from reborn dolls.
What It Does
This matting fluid gently reduces shine and creates a natural, realistic skin finish on your reborn doll. It works beautifully over air dry paints (recommended) and can also be used over heat set painted dolls.
Please note: If you use this product over heat set paint, the vinyl cannot be baked again.
Realistic Finish, Not Flat
 
***No matting fluid will provide a completely matt finish—and that's a good thing. A completely matt finish can make a doll look very flat and give an unnatural, chalky appearance. Our matting fluid is designed to create a soft, realistic skin texture with a subtle, natural sheen.
 
Pure Formula
We are aware that some sellers add matting powders to their products, which can cause issues such as chalkiness, white streaks, and clumping.
Our matting fluid is pure—no added powders, no fillers. Just a clean, professional formula that works.
 
How to Use
This is a maintenance product—you only need a thin, even layer. You can brush it on but then go over the area with a sponge and a light tapping motion. Leave it to dry completely - overnight.
 
Important: Adding more fluid will not make your doll any more matt. A light application is all you need for a beautiful, natural finish.
